Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify and address communication disorders. Your expertise will help students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide support and accommodations for students
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students who may require speech-language services
- Provide therapy sessions to students to improve communication skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
- A G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical and mental stamina. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. You will need to be able to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
