Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to work on a per diem basis in our Roxboro, North Carolina office. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to patients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes, promoting independence and improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
