About the Role:

The Novartis BioMedical Research division is seeking an experienced Imaging Expert to join our Clinical Imaging & Analytics team. As a key member, you will collaborate with clinical trial teams to identify imaging endpoints and develop strategies for their implementation. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of novel biomarkers and molecules across various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Oncology and General Medicine teams to develop and execute imaging strategies.
  • Implement imaging in clinical trials to provide critical insights on patient eligibility, efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action.
  • Collaborate with internal operational support and external contract research organizations (CRO) to ensure quality and timely execution of imaging trials.
  • Develop and manage networks of external experts to inform optimal imaging approaches.

Requirements:

  • PhD or MD with 5+ years of experience in PET/SPECT Imaging in academia or industry.
  • Deep technical knowledge in PET and SPECT as applied to in-life readouts (preclinical and clinical).
  • Expertise at the intersection of biomarkers and clinical needs along different stages of drug development.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and statistical knowledge.
  • Proven track record of innovative research preferably across imaging modalities.

Benefits:

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $144,000 to $216,000 annually. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and time-off benefits.
