Job SummaryThe Program Management Intern will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs and projects across various business areas. This role will provide hands-on experience in program management, including coordination of project activities, development of project plans, and monitoring of project progress.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs and projects across various business areas.
- Coordinate project activities, including development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and develop corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
- Provide support to program managers and project managers in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in program management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of program management principles, practices, and tools.
