Paramedic - Advanced Life Support Specialist

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team as an Advanced Life Support Specialist. As a Paramedic, you will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, utilizing your expertise in advanced life support techniques.
- Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to patients in emergency situations.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.
- Conduct self in a professional, dignified, and compassionate manner at all times.
- Communicate clearly, effectively, professionally, and in the English language via written and verbal means.
- Notify Supervisor of any deficiencies regarding maintenance, equipment, or supplies.
- Notify Supervisor immediately of any unusual circumstances.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Current Driver's License and must satisfy the current vehicle insurance company's requirements.
- NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (eligible for reciprocity).
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Hazmat Awareness Certification.
- Must possess ICS 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800.
- Must have completed Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training.
- Medical/Dental/Vision plans.
