Penn State Health Administrative Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Administrative Fellow program at Penn State Health. As an Administrative Fellow, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare administration and management, working closely with our executive leadership team, clinical chairs, and senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business process improvements in conjunction with senior level administrators
  • Assist in identifying, planning, and implementing organizational initiatives
  • Collaborate with project coordinators to develop and execute projects that support organizational goals
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or have recently completed an accredited graduate program in health administration (MHA/MBA/MHSA) or a similar field
  • Completed coursework prior to the start of the fellowship and either received a degree or have degree completion contingent upon the completion of a fellowship or year-long internship/residency experience
  • Citizen of the United States or able to maintain work authorization throughout the fellowship program
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level competency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
