As an Assistant Culinary Services Manager, your role is vital in enhancing our residents' dining experiences and overall satisfaction. Under the guidance of the Culinary Services Manager, you will help ensure that your department provides an exceptional dining experience at every meal. The Assistant Culinary Services Manager will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including kitchen oversight, food preparation, sanitation, and customer engagement. You will also be expected to assume leadership of the kitchen in the absence of the Culinary Services Manager. Collaborate with the Culinary Services Manager and the activities team to plan and execute events that involve food preparation and other related activities for our residents.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience in senior living environments is preferred. Sufficient experience in commercial food preparation is necessary to manage the volume of food service effectively.
- Serve Safe Certification or equivalent is preferred or must be obtained shortly after employment, along with any other requirements mandated by local or state regulations.
