Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images, ensuring optimal results for patient care.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, maintaining patient modesty and safety.
  • Administer contrast material and select technical factors/techniques to accommodate patient needs.
  • Document patient information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in on-call and call-back responsibilities to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong understanding of MRI equipment and procedures.
  • Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
