Position Overview

POSITION TITLE: Certified Speech Language Pathologist for Early Intervention

DIVISION: Therapeutic Services

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

STATUS: Flexible schedule with 3-18 billable hours per week.

COMPENSATION: $70 per billable hour – 1099 Contracted LLC position with no taxes withheld

Early Intervention Program Mission: To collaborate with families in Washington whose young children are facing developmental challenges and connect them with resources that foster their child's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide therapeutic services in accordance with the child's Individualized Family Service Plan. Sessions typically occur once a week for 60 minutes, though frequency may vary based on the child's needs.
  2. Developmental Services, Inc. supervises and manages referrals and billing for the program, assisting therapists with enrollment and annual credentialing.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with children aged 0-3 and their families to support their development in areas such as Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive, Adaptive, Social, and Social Communication. Services are delivered in the child's natural environment, which may include their home, daycare, or community settings, as determined by the family.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy is required.
  2. High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  3. Must possess and maintain a clear criminal and driving record.
  4. Valid driver's license and insurance on a personal vehicle are required, along with maintaining insurability as defined by the agency's liability insurance provider.
