We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Jiffy Lube. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests' vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services.
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems, and recommend repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
