Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician is a vital member of our team at Times Supermarket, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacy operations. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be the first point of contact for customers, processing prescriptions, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer prescriptions, including collecting necessary information, assisting pharmacists, and filing insurance claims.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, including counting, packaging, and labeling medications.
  • Monitor inventory levels, receiving, and stocking merchandise, including pharmacy supplies and over-the-counter (OTC) items.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions and customer transactions.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; prior experience in pharmacy or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and participate in strenuous work.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process prescriptions and handle cash transactions.
Working Conditions
