Catholic Faith Formation Chaplain - Mission & Ministry

Role Overview
The Catholic Faith Formation Chaplain is responsible for nurturing and expanding the Roman Catholic presence on campus. This involves cultivating a dynamic faith community among students, with a focus on inclusivity and diversity within the Catholic student body.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating connections between students and Catholic teachings
- Organizing and leading student faith-based groups
- Developing programs for spiritual growth, community engagement, and student leadership
- Providing tailored support for Latinx Catholic students
- Offering individual pastoral care and spiritual guidance to students
- Maintaining a strong emphasis on ministry within the context of higher education and the Ignatian tradition
Collaboration and Interaction
Reporting to the Director of Catholic Life, the Catholic Faith Formation Chaplain will work closely with fellow chaplains and staff, contributing to a collaborative environment that values interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies, or a related field
- 3 to 4 years of experience in campus ministry or a similar pastoral role
- Strong commitment to the principles of Catholic and Jesuit education
- Experience in faith formation initiatives and familiarity with Ignatian spirituality
- Proficient in standard computer applications, including email, Word, Excel, and Google Suite
- Ability to utilize digital platforms for effective communication
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in team building and crisis management is highly valued.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $47, $87,558.13, based on individual qualifications and experience.
