Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Scheduler to join our team at Surgery Partners. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our Endoscopy Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and their families at the reception area.
  • Facilitate patient registration for surgical procedures and admissions.
  • Handle incoming phone inquiries and assist with insurance verification.
  • Collect patient co-pays and provide support with billing inquiries.
  • Oversee the daily schedule and manage surgical/Endoscopy appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited medical program.
  • Prior experience in gastrointestinal procedures and scheduling is advantageous.
  • Current certification as CMA, LPN, or RN, along with BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles, insurance protocols, and medical terminology.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Background check.
  • Drug screening.
  • Health and immunization verification.
