Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Technician to join our team at Parallel. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-level security systems, including access control, video systems, and servers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies, and security and network components.
  • Collaborate with the team to schedule and dispatch to customer sites for install, break/fix requests, preventative maintenance, and small move, add, and change work.
  • Document and report findings and solutions for each service job performed.
  • Learn and implement the company's device monitoring/management methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-orientation and organizational skills with the ability to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of Networking and low voltage fundamentals.
  • Age 21 or over.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Government-Issued Driver's License.
