Job Summary

The Endoscopy RN is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all nursing care services for pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patients in a manner consistent with accepted standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the patient visit.
  • Coordinate total patient care in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
  • Function as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient's Bill of Rights.
  • Demonstrate professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one's nursing practice.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
  • 1+ years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse.
  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
  • BLS required. ACLS preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
