About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at New Bridge Medical Center. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including preparing the operating room and equipment.
  • Participate in the discussion of the surgical plan with the anesthesiologist and other team members to identify and correct any issues.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of the operating room, including checking equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the circulating nurse and other team members to ensure the successful completion of surgical procedures.
  • Assist with endoscopy procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
  • Order and maintain anesthesia supplies, working closely with the Director of Anesthesia.
  • Compile and process operating room records, including sterilization records and anesthesia logs.
  • Participate in continuing education and in-service programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
