Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the registration area and telephones are operational at designated hours and manage closing procedures effectively.
2. Welcome clients/patients, ensuring all necessary documentation for visits is accurately obtained and recorded, including insurance eligibility confirmation and completion of required forms.
3. Gather essential patient information, including insurance details, update records as needed, and process payments for services or bill patient accounts.
4. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing productivity through established scheduling protocols, and follow up with clients for rescheduling and referrals.
5. Review sliding fee scale costs when applicable.
6. Monitor daily schedules for compliance with guidelines, report discrepancies, and suggest improvements.
7. Maintain accurate reports, patient statistics, and office productivity, participating in data reporting as requested.
8. Manage office supply inventory and perform general administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, mail distribution, and data entry.
9. Engage in ongoing education annually, completing CPR and other assigned training.
