Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Indigo Real Estate Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical condition and appearance of our properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance operations, including curb appeal, timely work request service, and quality turnover/make-ready schedules.
  • Organize and manage inventory control and ordering for the property, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Assure all service requests are completed daily, and generate and manage an effective on-call schedule.
  • Perform emergency maintenance as required, and lead Punch List for vacated units to ensure they are move-in ready.
  • Obtain bids and negotiate prices with vendors and contractors, and manage and maintain all contracts and warranties.
  • Provide ongoing training and leadership to Maintenance staff, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (BA preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment.
  • Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills, and ability to prioritize numerous requests and incoming information.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi or other property management software, and current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
