Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companion support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and welfare.
  • Accompany individuals on recreational trips and medical appointments as house staff.
  • Engage individuals in leisure activities such as arts, crafts, and games.
  • Assist individuals with implementing their activities of daily living.
  • Complete documentation as required.
  • Communicate and resolve individual concerns with the Allegheny Community Home Care Lead Supervisor.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in direct support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
