We are seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Medi Home Health & Hospice. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients in Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Portsmouth Counties.

Job Overview

This is a part-time, 32-hour position that requires a valid PT license in the state of VA, a valid driver's license, and current CPR certification. We prefer candidates with at least one year of verifiable physical therapy experience, particularly in home health settings.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physical therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines
  • Implementing and conducting treatment plans as outlined by physicians
  • Treating clients to relieve pain, develop, and restore function, and maintain maximum performance using appropriate physical therapy treatments and procedures
  • Monitoring patient response to treatment and modifying treatment as needed in accordance with physician orders
  • Interpreting and communicating evaluation findings to patients, family, and other staff members

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid PT license in the state of VA
  • A valid driver's license
