Key ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Customer Service Lead, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our Customer Service Team, ensuring that all client inquiries and needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Receive and process orders through various channels.
- Enter orders into our system and confirm as necessary.
- Generate work orders and labels efficiently, ensuring accurate pricing.
- Review completed orders, obtain freight quotes when required, and prepare invoices.
- Organize original orders, work orders, and invoices for collection or shipping.
- Manage paperwork for will-call orders upon customer arrival.
- Handle payment processing including Credit Card, COD, and other terms.
- Coordinate freight documentation and liaise with the Freight Coordinator for special requests.
- Track back-ordered products and expedite processing upon arrival.
- Direct customer service inquiries to the appropriate Sales Representative or Manager.
- Work with office staff to address returns and complaints.
- Follow up on freight from the previous day.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite.
- Strong data entry capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior customer service experience.
- A proven track record of problem-solving.
- A collaborative mindset and strong teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Consistent attendance in previous roles.
