Job Summary:

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Pediatric Unit in the MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Participate in data collection for current studies and improve practice by integrating research findings.
  • Document patient care according to established standards and ensure continuity of care through discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or oncology.
