Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient progress.
  • Document progress in patient charts and complete notes, charges, and discharge notes.
  • Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations.
Requirements
  • State licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) (provisional SLP license may be considered).
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
