Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Store Admin Backup to join our team at Albertsons. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including cash handling, personnel functions, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily reconciliation, accounting, and cash balancing functions, including counting the safe, self-checkout registers, and preparing tills and deposits.
  • Monitor cashier accountability and investigate discrepancies, reporting issues to the Service Operations/Customer Service Manager and Store Director.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including using computer programs and email systems.
  • Review associate time records for compliance with Company policies and submit payroll on a timely basis.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
  • May coordinate safety-related activities, including monthly safety meetings, and service award programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support front-end operations.
  • Ensure the office area is clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Ability to sit for long periods, move, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and turn frequently.
  • Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of cash balancing, cash handling, company policies, benefits, scheduling tools, payroll processing procedures, training, and new associate orientation.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of one and two-step math calculations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, and understanding of Company Core Values.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a professional demeanor.
Work Environment

This role typically works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional travel, including overnight travel, required.
