Job Summary

BD is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Unit Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing unit, you will be responsible for process capability, cost reduction, and continuous improvement project implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and sustain BD Excellence work processes for the manufacturing unit.
  • Identify critical equipment settings and create standards.
  • Create technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfer knowledge to operators and technical associates.
  • Coach associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
  • Understand top losses within the manufacturing unit and develop and implement plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
  • Responsible for manufacturing unit change control, including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associates Degree in Electro-mechanical/Mechatronics or related field preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years medical manufacturing experience preferred.
