This position is integral to the insurance sector, and the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience collaborating with various carriers.
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between producers and carriers to facilitate prompt underwriting decisions.
- Oversee inquiries regarding case status and communicate with carriers to clarify and resolve any outstanding requirements.
- Identify and escalate cases that require additional focus or intervention.
- Develop proficiency in navigating multiple carrier portals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work activities and communications within our agency management system.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Provide telephone support for incoming inquiries.
- Coordinate regular calls or virtual meetings with high-volume producers and field office trainers.
- Prepare status reports for management, producers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Assist producers with post-issue modifications that necessitate the involvement of a carrier underwriter or case manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Case Manager or in a similar role within the life insurance field.
- Experience in a multi-carrier environment is preferred.
- Culturally aware and sensitive.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively prioritize issues.
- Demonstrates urgency while maintaining a focus on detail.
- Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, including changes in technology, procedures, and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
