Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between producers and carriers to facilitate prompt underwriting decisions.
  • Oversee inquiries regarding case status and communicate with carriers to clarify and resolve any outstanding requirements.
  • Identify and escalate cases that require additional focus or intervention.
  • Develop proficiency in navigating multiple carrier portals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work activities and communications within our agency management system.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Provide telephone support for incoming inquiries.
  • Coordinate regular calls or virtual meetings with high-volume producers and field office trainers.
  • Prepare status reports for management, producers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist producers with post-issue modifications that necessitate the involvement of a carrier underwriter or case manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Case Manager or in a similar role within the life insurance field.
  • Experience in a multi-carrier environment is preferred.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively prioritize issues.
  • Demonstrates urgency while maintaining a focus on detail.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, including changes in technology, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
