Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary supplies and instruments for surgical procedures based on surgeon preference cards.
- Maintain a sterile environment and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of surgical case preparation and patient anatomy.
- Uphold environmental safety practices for patients, self, and team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Training Program.
- Licensure: Current Registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.
- Certification: BLS certification is mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
Physical Demands:
This position requires prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and the ability to lift heavy instrument sets. Candidates should possess proficient communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write legibly.
