Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement self-care programs for residents.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
