Gastroenterologist Position at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital

Indiana University Health, a leading healthcare system in the state, is actively recruiting a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team of physicians at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Position Details- Full-time employment with a Monday-Friday schedule
- Practice locations include Ball Memorial Hospital and Muncie clinic (90% of time) and Outreach at Jay County Hospital and Blackford Hospital (10% of the time)
- Work-life balance with an on-call schedule of 1:5-6
- 25% Inpatient and 75% Outpatient
- Collaborative team of 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Providers
- Patient Volume: Average 40-60 procedures per week
- Procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, ERCP/EUS, RFA, and esophageal motility
- Opportunities for teaching residents, lectures, and adjunct faculty appointment
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship training required in Gastroenterology
- Interest in new and practicing physicians
- Ability to obtain J-1 visa sponsorship
