Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to a designated group of residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with residents and their families, understanding their unique preferences, needs, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in the development of the Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and monthly updates, ensuring residents' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Encourage and support residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
  • In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
