Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Individuals with Daily Living Tasks: Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage Independence: Support individuals in developing skills and strategies to live independently, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals, helping them to build meaningful relationships and connections.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure individuals receive comprehensive support and care.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a patient and compassionate demeanor.
  • Behaviors: Reliable, responsible, and a team player.
