Job Summary
The Imaging Clinical Supervisor (CT) plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care within the department. This position is responsible for coordinating the overall workflow to guarantee efficient and timely processes, as well as customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of radiation protection and safety principles, as well as imaging principles and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including quality assurance/control programs.
- Resolve physician complaints regarding clinical performance.
- Demonstrate exceptional triage of patients.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
- Utilize creativity in section operational skills, decision-making skills, and contingency planning preparation.
- Initiate and manage various projects with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
- Associate degree or graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist with certification by at least one of the following: ARRT, ARDMS, CNT, CVT, NMTCB, RVT, CAMRT, or NMTCB.
- Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality.
- Three years of leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with a diagnostic testing department, preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
