Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage direct shipment and HUB appointment information for Laredo departing trailers/containers.
  • Track and oversee direct ship and Hub Operation from the Laredo Transload facility, ensuring on-time departures from Laredo warehouses.
  • Control and coordinate Laredo departure schedules to minimize delays and optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Monitor border crossing statuses and ensure compliance with regulations to avoid any potential issues.
  • Respond effectively to Immediate Response Required situations and validate IOD & POD to ensure smooth processing.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Work closely with the trans-loading warehouse to manage capacity planning, KPI management, and bottleneck management.
  • Develop logistics business plans with the US logistics team, HQ, and 3PL service providers to drive business growth.
  • Manage volume in and out of the trans-loading center, planning resources based on production, inbound, and outbound.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, particularly in the transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of Laredo logistics operations and border crossing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
