Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting learning needs assessments, planning and implementing curriculum, and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct learning needs assessments to identify educational priorities for nursing staff
- Plan, design, and implement curriculum to meet the educational needs of nursing staff
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain educational records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Department Managers/Directors to enhance retention and competence of staff
- Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff, leadership, and medical staff
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Education, or Health Administration preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required
- Previous staff development or education experience preferred
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina required
- National certification in nursing professional development and clinical specialty preferred
