Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant at Community Memorial Hospital's Raiter Family Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication refills, immunizations, and supporting other Clinic Assistants as needed. You will also be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing hearing tests, tympanic testing, bladder scans, and assisting with EKGs. Additionally, you will document observations in the electronic medical record and serve as a liaison between physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with direct patient care
  • Support medication refills, immunizations, and other clinical tasks
  • Room patients, take vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Document observations in the electronic medical record
  • Act as a liaison between physicians and patients
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current licensure (LPN) or certification as a CMA, or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire
  • Clinic experience preferred
  • BLS and/or willingness to obtain within three months of hire
Compensation

Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage of up to $23.62 per hour, plus a $3,000.00 signing bonus.
