Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Interim HealthCare Duluth, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in Duluth and Cloquet, MN.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily needs, such as eating and nutritional intake, ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
