Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance the ongoing development and maintenance of advanced defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of Unix and Legacy software applications across various run-time environments.
  • Design and execute strategies for process enhancement and technical issue resolution.
  • Develop and assess corrective action reports to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to address quality concerns effectively.
  • Lead and participate in comprehensive Process Evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.
  • Familiarity with ClearCase/ClearQuest or similar Source Code Management Systems is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development methodologies.
  • Experience with Status Accounting and Tracking Systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain productive relationships with peers and customers at all technical levels.
  • Experience supporting Naval Weapon Systems is a plus.
