The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead the design, analysis, and requirements development/verification of innovative techniques for legacy radar systems and high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems, as well as communication systems. You'll work closely with our team to conceptualize, prototype, test, and demonstrate cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the design of radar systems and subsystems, including algorithm development and analysis
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to program execution
  • Navigate major program milestones and ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage development schedules, identify critical paths, and create integration plans
  • Support the planning and execution of development and integration activities, working with systems, software, and hardware teams
  • Lead design reviews, system demos, flight tests, element and system level verification activities, and system certification
  • Execute integration and test activities, evaluate test results, and drive discrepancies to resolution
  • Perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  • Develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Engineering experience in algorithm design development or analysis
  • Proficient in the use of MATLAB, Python, and C++ or equivalent high-level computing language
  • Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing
  • Functional knowledge of Radar, Electronic Warfare systems, and/or Communications, including algorithms, subsystems, and components
Desired Skills
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: wireless communication techniques, adaptive antenna arrays, signal processing/sensor fusion/joint optimization, system modeling tools, artificial intelligence/machine learning, radar control algorithms
