Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Nurse Supervisor at Cedar Ridge Center in Sissonville, WV. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and implement strategies to minimize overtime and agency personnel usage.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentorship, and employee development, including recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, ensuring alignment with Genesis' mission and vision.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution, a current RN licensure, and a minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience, with at least two years in a management or supervisory capacity. A BSN is preferred, and you must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
