We are seeking an experienced Gear Machinist to join our team at Witco Inc., a leading precision CNC Turning, Milling, and Gear Cutting company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our gear machines, ensuring high-quality products for various global industries.

• Set up and operate gear machines, including Fellows 10-4 CNC shaper, Fellows 7A shaper, Barber-Coleman 16-36 hob, and others.
• Perform machine operations, including tooling applications, speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
• Enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material.
• Change standard cutting tools and reset machine to proper size.
• Adjust basic offsets to maintain part integrity.
• Detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance conditions.

• 3-5 years of experience in independently performing set-ups and adjustments of gear machines.
• Understanding of tooling applications and machine operations.
• Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors.
• Knowledge of computerized machine control media and standard gages and inspection equipment.

• Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00 am-4:30 pm, with lunch break from 12:00 pm-12:30 pm.
