Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of all fixed assets, including acquisition, disposal, and transfer of assets. Update asset registers and ensure proper documentation is maintained using the company’s accounting system.

• Oversee all capital lease accounting reviews and documentation.

• Manage all real estate and personal property tax activities.

• Calculate and record depreciation and amortization of fixed assets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to fixed assets, including schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

• Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies.


• Manage all activities related to building and vehicle leases, including lease terms, payments, taxes, insurance, and other related items.

• Process month-end journal entries as assigned.

• Reconcile and oversee inventory processes and reporting as assigned.

• Reconcile specific general ledger accounts.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Identify and implement improvements to fixed asset accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Communicate with colleagues, management, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.

• Achieve proficiency in the use of accounting software.

• Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Additional Duties:
• Assist in other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting and/or 1-3 years of relevant job experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to meet assigned deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards software is preferred.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, if applicable.

• Demonstrated ability to provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.

• Willingness to collaborate effectively with team members.
