LPN Clinic Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians with procedures and treatments, and documenting vital information in patient medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room and assess patients, anticipating appropriate preparation for physician visits
- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments as necessary
- Prepare and administer medications or vaccines according to standard procedure and as ordered by physician or standing order
- Operate medical equipment, including EKG, tympanometry, suction, oxygen, spirometer, audiometer, nebulizer, wheelchair, and exam tables
- Assist with dressing application and removals as ordered
Requirements:
- Current LPN license to practice in the State of Minnesota or CMA certification/registration with 1 year of hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Previous LPN experience preferred, or graduate of a medical assistant program and achieve certification/registration within 1 year of hire
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques gained through a variety of nursing experience
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
