Diesel Mechanic

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition to meet the demands of our waste management operations.

• Perform routine maintenance services to prevent equipment breakdowns
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex vehicle systems, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist Lead Mechanics as needed to ensure efficient workflow
• Review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to OSHA and organizational standards
• Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied time

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair experience; OR 4 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license

• Ability to handle tools and equipment, requiring fine motor skills
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
• Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
