Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance services to prevent equipment breakdowns
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex vehicle systems, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist Lead Mechanics as needed to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs
- Review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to OSHA and organizational standards
- Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied time
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair experience; OR 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to handle tools and equipment, requiring fine motor skills
- Reach with hands and arms
- Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
- Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
