Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance services to prevent equipment breakdowns
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex vehicle systems, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist Lead Mechanics as needed to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs
  • Review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to OSHA and organizational standards
  • Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied time
Requirements:
  • Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair experience; OR 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair experience
  • Valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to handle tools and equipment, requiring fine motor skills
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
  • Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
