Your Role
As a Powder B Production Specialist, you will be integral to the operational success of our facility. Your expertise will contribute to a dynamic environment focused on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to cut bags of raw materials and monitor product flow and levels in storage bins.
- Utilize forklifts to transport materials to unloading stations and manage excess product effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and report to supervisory staff.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance, including thorough cleaning and decontamination processes.
- Respond to emergency situations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, including the use of respiratory protective equipment when necessary.
- Collect samples for quality control and maintain cleanliness in assigned work areas.
- Participate in recycling efforts and uphold safety program standards through active participation in meetings and inspections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; one year of forklift experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to wear respiratory protection and communicate effectively while using such equipment.
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including ascending heights and working shifts that may require overtime.
