The counselor will also monitor and assess patient progress throughout their treatment journey. Collaboration with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, is crucial to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support patient recovery.
  • Oversee the care of assigned patients, reporting on their status and concerns to the treatment team.
  • Perform thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans in compliance with state regulations.
  • Deliver clinical services, patient education, and specialized counseling for opioid addiction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate proficient computer skills.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services discipline.
  • Preferred Credentials: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, CADCII, or ACITII
  • Must hold credentials in addiction counseling from a nationally recognized certifying body.
  • MAT Certification is required.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
