The Recruitment Consultant for Technical Operations is pivotal in attracting and onboarding new Team Members, particularly in the areas of Technical Operations and Information Systems. This role is essential for sourcing top-tier talent with the right blend of skills and experience to contribute to our organizational goals and success. The Recruitment Consultant will work closely with key stakeholders at Breeze, promoting a strong employment brand and ensuring a positive experience for all candidates.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor fellow Recruitment Specialists and Coordinators within the team.
  • Become proficient in the Recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assist hiring managers and candidates in navigating the platform.
  • Design and implement effective recruiting strategies while maintaining regular communication with Hiring Managers regarding processes, statuses, and candidate feedback.
  • Engage with Hiring Managers through comprehensive intake sessions to clarify staffing needs and ensure job descriptions accurately reflect the required skills and qualifications.
  • Provide expertise in managing job postings effectively.
  • Influence the hiring process to ensure timely decisions and commitments are met.
  • Ensure a positive experience for both internal and external applicants throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Collaborate with Team Members on headcount requests and approvals for open roles based on organizational needs.
  • Utilize a consultative approach with hiring teams for candidate assessment and selection to align with business requirements.
  • Independently manage key recruitment tasks with precision, including:
    • Job requests and requisition creation.
    • Posting positions on approved job boards.
  • Conduct thorough screenings based on job expectations.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to actively find both active and passive candidates, including social networks, career fairs, and community events.
  • Advise business leaders to ensure optimal hiring decisions are made.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the ATS for reporting and analysis.
  • Foster strong partnerships across business groups, Hiring Managers, and other talent acquisition functions.
  • Facilitate understanding of competitive offer components to secure candidate acceptance.
  • Participate in industry events, recruitment fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Review candidate applications and assessments to determine progression in the selection process.
  • Conduct debrief sessions with Hiring Managers to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Discuss offer details with Hiring Managers and extend verbal offers, negotiating as necessary.
  • Create and send written job offers to the most qualified candidates.
  • Manage specialty projects related to hiring needs.
  • Facilitate weekly reviews with leadership regarding recruitment positions.
  • Maintain candidate pools for future openings.

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4+ years of experience in high-volume recruitment or operations.
  • 1+ years of experience in Technical Operations, Maintenance, Quality, or Engineering recruitment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking or training management systems.
  • Proven project management skills with performance reporting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Proficient in social media tools, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality.
  • High-performance orientation with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Operations or Technical Recruitment.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS and Workday HRIS platforms.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of competency-based interviews and assessment techniques.
  • Understanding of workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of employment law and recruitment practices.
