As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating and treating medical and musculoskeletal pathology, and working with a diverse population of athletes, coaches, and medical personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology
  • Work with a diverse population of athletes, coaches, and medical personnel
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote optimal health and function
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training
Requirements
  • 2 years of athletic training experience
  • CAATE-accredited professional athletic training program
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field
  • Athletic Trainer Certification
  • Athletic Trainer Registration/Licensure
  • BLS certification
  • Current driver's license
Work Environment

This role will cover our Fort Lewis College and Durango High School needs. The Athletic Trainer will work variable shifts, including weekends, and will travel with the team. The Durango High School role will travel only if they make the playoffs.
