Job Opportunity: Girls' Swim & Dive Specialist

Durango School District 9-R is seeking a highly qualified Girls' Swim & Dive Specialist to join our team at DHS. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of student-athletes and contribute to the success of our aquatic program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive swim and dive program for girls
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor student-athletes to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with the coaching staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Design and implement injury prevention and treatment programs
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
Requirements:
  • Valid CHSAA Certification or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
  • Fundamental knowledge of swimming and diving
  • Experience working with school-aged athletes and students
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
  • Current medical injury treatment coursework
