Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 22-bed adult Neuro ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty.
Responsibilities:
- Care for critically ill patients with a range of neurological diagnoses, including neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injury.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit-based research efforts and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts, to meet the needs of the unit.
Requirements:
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse.
- Neuro and critical care experience preferred, but candidates with experience in general acute care and a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty will also be considered.
- Ability to work a day/night rotation shift.
